This Thursday – Performing at NightLife

I’m playing with Capacitor as part of the Academy of Sciences “Turtle Power” NightLife this Thursday, June 14 (that’s tomorrow!). We’re performing an excerpt from our sold-out show, Okeanos, which premiered at Fort Mason in April. We should be going on at 7:45pm in the Piazza.

Excerpt from the NightLife description:
“They’re slow and steady, but are turtles actually winning the race? Find out during a NightLife dedicated to these charismatic shelled creatures which have been around for more than 200 million years…see renowned dance troupe Capacitor perform an excerpt from Okeanos, a portrait of the ocean as body, environment, resource, metaphor, and force… Play some classic Nintendo Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles provided by homefrys… Catch a special dive show in the Philippine Coral Reef, and Sea Turtle Spotlight in the planetarium at 6:30, followed by two showings of Earthquake. Music by DJ Jaysonik (Hottub/Le Heat).”
